As far back as I can remember I had a camera in my hand. I was thrilled to receive a Canon SLR as a birthday present one year. At the time I didn’t realise how it would alter my perspective on photography but armed with camera books and like-minded friends I started to explore the World through a camera lens (or two).

I love to open up the fascinating world of photography to enthusiasts, young and old. It’s always wonderful for me to see the faces of people discovering how to use their camera and produce amazing images.

There are many different pieces of software available to make your photos more interesting, from basic touch ups to applying special effects. I always take time to explore the possibilities with my students and we have fun finding out just what is possible once the images are loaded onto a computer.

I like to make learning fun and my students regularly enrol for other courses I offer. I have been teaching now for over 7 years in colleges on the Northern Beaches and North Shore areas of Sydney.

I have 30 years experience in the IT industry and was a Senior Analyst/Programmer before starting out as an Instructor. I qualified with a Bec/Tec National Diploma in Computer Studies (Distinction) and I am currently studying with Open Universities Australia for a Bachelor of Technology in Computing Studies. I am also a qualified trainer and assessor.
